The later, red sleeve lists Ministry as Al Jourgensen, Stephen George, John Davis, and Bob Roberts. Several copies of the brown sleeve proclaim that the release includes the bonus track Primental, meaning there could exist copies of the brown sleeve without Primental on them.

Info: This is the European release version of WITH SYMPATHY. Entitled WORK FOR LOVE, possibly to expand on the overseas popularity of the single, this is the same record except with a different, out-of-order tracklisting. "What He Say" is for some reason called "Do the Etawa".
Additional info: Some overseas copies of the album were pressed with the title WITH SYMPATHY on the cover, but contain the tracks for the WORK FOR LOVE release. The German release is one of them. The second German release has the Work For Love cover/tracklisting, but replaces the LP version of “I Wanted To Tell Her” with the 7” remix version.

Info: Artwork is the same as the WITH SYMPATHY cover, except with a photograph of Al and Stephen George on the front. Comes with a picture sleeve insert that contains printed lyrics in both Japanese and English.

Work For Love [6:25]
For Love [6:15]
Info: Comes in a picture sleeve with Al's face on the bottom of the cover, which is gray and red, and has a large M inscripted on it.
Additional info: The A-side version is unique to this release... there is dialogue towards the end between Al and a woman, and Al says, "Why won't you even talk to me?" The woman replies, "You don't have what it takes." And Al says, "But I'm willing to work". This dialogue also plays in the "Dub" version of the song. The B-side is a pseudo-instrumental dub version.

Info: Contains two versions of the song: one in stereo-sound, one in mono. Both are edited. AS1 9068 release comes housed in a blue Arista sleeve. Unknown where it was made, but was purchased in Australia, so this is most likely the source of distribution.
x 7" 1983 Arista ARIST 533 UK
I Wanted To Tell Her [7:06]
I Wanted To Tell Her (Stuck Stuck Stuck) [4:54]
Info: One of the more unique Ministry finds because this UK release contains a cassette case attached (possibly glued) to the cover in the upper left-hand corner. There is no cover to the cassette case. The cassette is tan with red labels. They read "Al Jourgensen in conversation with Richard Skinner. Inc. excerpts from the forthcoming album 'Work For Love'". The interview is about 15 or so minutes and has new songs ("Here We Go", "Say You're Sorry", "Effigy [I'm Not An]") and conversation between the two. The cover is exactly the same as the 12" cover, both front and back. A-side is an extended mix. The B-side is the "Tongue-Tied Mix".
Additional info: There is a lot of interesting tidbits on the cassette... Al mentions some bands he's producing, one being the Blackouts, so this is around the time he and Bill Rieflin and Paul Barker got together. He also mentions that the Blackouts had been on Situation 2, which corresponds to the COLD LIFE single listed at the top. He talks about the WaxTrax! record store and the COLD LIFE single. He talks about the upcoming tour for the album, etc.

"All Day Remix" is actually not the remix at all, but rather the original LP version of "All Day". Tracklisting on the back of the LP lists "Twitch (Version II)" as simply "Twitch", though it is listed correctly on the record itself. The German CD release does not list "Crash and Burn/Twitch (Version II)" on the packaging or anywhere at all. CD releases list "Twitch (Version II)" as being on the CD only, when it is also included on the original vinyl release. The track "Where You At Now?" ends at the 05:30 point, and "Crash and Burn" ends at the 10:14 point. The original Sire release of the CD was housed in a color artwork longbox.

Info: Released on September 4, 1990. Audio releases (all) do not contain the openers and closers "Breathe" and "The Land Of Rape and Honey", which the video releases do contain. The LP version was possibly a limited release.
Additional info: The album was one of the first to be issued with a "Parental Advisory/Explicit Lyrics" sticker on the front. Original releases of the CD had the "Warning From Ministry" anti-censorship spiel (now inside printed on the CD sleeve) on a small boxed sticker on the front cover of the longbox. It was six times the size of the Parental Advisory notice. It was one of the last instances where Warner let an artist challenge government power so provocatively on analbum cover. U.K. promo cassette release is chrome and comes in a paper sleeve with song titles. The original Sire release of the CD was housed in a color artwork longbox.
